Salary Range: $5,274 - $7,225

This classification is FLSA exempt and reports directly to the Assistant City Manager; oversees, provides direction, and participates in all activities of the Community Development Department. The City of Citrus Heights is seeking an individual with professional planning credentials to work as an Assistant or Associate Planner. The Planning Division, as part of the Community Development Department, is responsible for current planning projects which encompasses reviewing all proposed development projects including new residential, commercial, and office developments along with completing the environmental reviews of all planning projects.
Under general supervision, performs a variety of entry level tasks in the area of City administration and operation of housing activities of the City; and to perform related duties as required.
