DEFINITION

Under general supervision, the incumbent learns to, and performs the full array of duties assigned to classes in the Maintenance Worker series including maintenance, construction and equipment operation work and performs other related duties as required.

This is the highest level of the Library Assistant series and is distinguished from the next lower class by the higher level of responsibility, including coordinating services system-wide and training and supervising staff.
