We are seeking a customer service oriented individual with the competence and experience to address challenges with confidence and professionalism. The Community Development Technician I will assist with building permit issuance, and provide information on City codes, policies, standards, and processes.

Suisun City is located midway between San Francisco and Sacramento in south central Solano County. The City, which was among the first to incorporate in California, developed around a waterfront that has direct access to San Francisco Bay and the Pacific Ocean. Although the City is largely developed, several large parcels exist and a large annexation is on the horizon that signals ongoing development activity will continue to be in the City’s future.
The District has one regular, full-time opening for the position of Automotive Mechanic II in the Facilities & Watershed Division. Interested persons must submit a completed District application and Supplemental Questionnaire to the Human Resources Department no later than the filing deadline.
Under general supervision, performs service and repair work on a variety of District vehicles and gasoline and diesel-powered equipment; and to do related work as required.

The Building Division
Participate in the planning, implementation and evaluation of a broad range of maintenance-related operations and activities. Assist the Maintenance Services Director with staff reports, commission packets, contracts and representation of the Maintenance Department at various community-based meetings. Provide support to other maintenance staff.
