The Department of Transportation (DOT) is seeking Street Sweeper Operators in the Infrastructure Maintenance (IM) Division. Street Sweeper Operators in DOT have the principal responsibility of the sweeping crew to provide clean streets on a consistent basis by effectively clearing trash and other accumulated debris from designated routes using a street sweeper. Currently the Department utilizes three types of sweepers: Elgin, Tymco, and Schwarze sweepers.

Under general supervision, provides technical and public information for all aspects of the development review process, which includes planning, zoning, plan review, building inspection, permit issuance and related areas such as housing and code enforcement; provides information to the public at a counter or over the telephone; performs related work as assigned.
