The Town of Moraga is a small general law city of about 16,000 residents in Contra Costa County. The City of Pacifica currently has an opening for a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator I - Collections Systems. Under general direction, this position is responsible for the overall operation of the Wastewater Treatment Plant – Collections System, which includes the repair and maintenance of a variety of machinery, equipment and the Wastewater Treatment Plant facilities.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES:
Duties will include: performing skilled inspections of varied public works, development and related projects; reading and interpreting construction drawings, plans, specifications and public works construction contracts; overseeing a variety of tests performed by contractors to verify compliance with City Standard Specifications and Details; scheduling and conducting preconstruction meetings that include contractors, project engineers, utility company representatives.

Contracted Pay Rate Increase effective July 9, 2018:
PWII: $16.40 to $20.93 per hour.
PWI: $15.66 to $19.98 per hour.
This is a regular, full time position with full benefits.
