DOT is currently recruiting to fill full-time Maintenance Worker II (MWII) positions in the Infrastructure Maintenance Division.
Under close supervision, performs a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled public works maintenance tasks in the construction, maintenance and repair of streets, sidewalks, signs, striping, painting, building maintenance, tree trimming, debris removal, and street light repairs. This is the entry level class in the Maintenance Worker series. Although trucks and other motorized equipment may be operated by a Maintenance Worker 1, the equipment is used on a training basis for tasks which are repetitious in nature.

POSITION: The City is recruiting for an Administrative Specialist in the Public Works Maintenance Division to perform a variety of highly responsible and complex clerical and administrative duties for the Maintenance Division. MAINTENANCE WORKER PARKS/ROADSIDES/TEMPORARY
SALARY: $18/hour. This is a non-benefitted position. Schedule will include weekend work and is limited to 29 hours/week, 129 hours/month, and 950 hours/calendar year.
Primary duties include supervision of the Work Alternative Program participants, cleaning and maintaining parks and roadsides and other associated assignments.
