DEFINITION: The City of Foster City has an opening for a Department Intern in the Public Works Department. The position is part-time, approximately 20 hours/week (maximum of 960 hours per fiscal year), and non-benefitted. Receives direction and guidance from staff. Salary: $13 - $20 hourly, determined by experience and education.

The City of Patterson’s Public Works Department is seeking to hire (1) Maintenance Worker I for the water division and to establish an eligibility list. Future positions may be available in the Urban Forestry, Parks, Streets or Water Divisions.
The City of Yuba City is currently recruiting for one (1) full-time Fire Safety Inspector I/II. Under direct supervision of the Fire Marshal, Fire Safety Inspectors inspect fire protection systems, new construction sites, industrial and commercial occupancies and institutional and public assemblage occupancies to insure a practical level of fire and life safety exists in compliance with applicable state and local regulations and preforms related work. The Fire Safety Inspector typically works a 40 hour scheduled work week, but may also be assigned as an on call Fire Investigator as needed.
