The Environmental Services Department provides comprehensive and innovative utility services for Sunnyvale's residents and businesses and facilitates initiatives to achieve the City's sustainability objectives. The Department brings together technical, operational, and administrative professional disciplines to form its dedicated and dynamic team.
This recruitment is to fill two  vacancies in the laboratory, but the eligible list may be used for future vacancies in the laboratory or the Compliance Inspection group.
The City of Sunnyvale is actively seeking a highly energetic, skilled, and motivated individual to join a well-established municipality as a Public Works Construction Inspector. The individual will perform quality assurance inspections on typical City capital construction projects. These projects include but are not limited to roadway rehabilitation, water, storm and sewer lines replacement, water stations and plants, wastewater and solid waste processing, parks, traffic systems and building upgrades and rehabilitation.

$35.21 - $44.27 Hourly; Non-Benefited Position
