About the Position:
The Public Health Officer coordinates across all divisions of the County Health and Human Services departments in order to leverage resources and ensure a systems approach in prioritizing the public health needs of the community. This position consults with the Yuba and Sutter County Directors for Health and Human Services, Public Health Administrators and Environmental Health Directors to assist in coordinating and providing oversight to public health programs for the Bi-County region.
To perform challenging and moderately technical paraprofessional accounting, finance, purchasing and bookkeeping duties required in the maintenance of fiscal and statistical records, preparation and maintenance of financial statements and documents; to review, verify, reconcile and record financial transactions which require interpretive ability and technical judgement. The purpose of this recruitment is to fill two current vacancies, as well as establish an eligibility list for future vacancies.
The County of Yuba is currently recruiting for the position of Supervising Public Health Nurse II in the Health & Human Services Department.
The salary range for this classification is $18.66-$22.71 hourly, $38,812.80 -$47,236.80 annually. This position is covered under the Living Wage Policy and your hourly rate will be adjusted to $22.68/23.93 per hour. The Living Wage rate consists of a base amount and an approximate five percent (5%) ongoing non-pensionable pay.
AFTER SCHOOL COMMUNITY SERVICES ASSISTANT (ASCSA) I/II/III
ASCSA I: $12.36 - $15.02/hr.
ASCSA II: $13.84 - $16.82/hr.
ASCSA III: $15.79 - $19.19/hr.
Multiple Positions Open (part-time, at-will, no benefits)
Also hiring Substitute ASCSA I staff available a minimum of 3 days a week.
