Definition: Preschool Teacher

The City of Burlingame is looking for an energetic, caring, creative, and responsible Preschool Teacher. Under direction of a Recreation Coordinator, the Preschool Teacher plans, schedules, and organizes preschool classes for the City’s Village Park Preschool program, assures policies and procedures are maintained, and performs related work as required.

Essential Duties

• Plan, organize, and implement activities that support early childhood education and socialization;
• Lead a variety of activities including, but not limited to, arts and crafts, organized games, story time, music/singing activities, science, cooking, early writing skills, and interactive circle time;
• Ensure proper safety precautions are observed;
• Maintain and care for supplies, equipment, and the facility;
• Report any supply requests and facility maintenance needs;
• Set up daily snack, change diapers and support toilet training;

About Administrative Services:

The Administrative Services Department provides logistical and resource support to all County departments. The Yuba County Sheriff’s Department is currently recruiting for two full-time Animal Care Services Officer. Under close supervision, incumbents enforces State and County laws regarding stray, dangerous, rabid, nuisance and unwanted domestic animals; investigates complaints; patrols assigned areas; captures animals; removes dead animals from public and private properties; assist in feeding and cleaning animal enclosures; assist with euthanizations and disposal of animals in a humane and prescribed method and performs other duties related to humane animal protection and control; performs related work as assigned including assisting the public with drop off, pick up and adoption of animals as necessary.  This is a working level class in animal control, responsible for enforcing applicable regulations in a limited public officer capacity. THE POSITION

The City of Redwood City is seeking a value-driven team player to fill the position of Permit System Analyst in the Community Development Department. • Providing technical support to permit system end-users and coordinating with the system vendor (CentralSquare) to report and resolve system bugs, and scheduling and implementing system upgrades in coordination with Information Technology staff.
• Creating and maintaining reports utilizing the permit system’s built-in report writer and running queries to analyze permit data and monitor the system’s data integrity.
• Providing staff with permit system training, creating detailed training manuals/guides, and documenting user procedures and workflow processes.
