The Department:
The Parks and Recreation Department provides planning, development, operation, maintenance, and rehabilitation of the City's neighborhood parks, open space, water sites, recreation buildings, and trails.
The Position:
Under supervision, to perform a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled tasks in connection with the development and maintenance of City parks and recreational facilities.

The Construction Secretary will assist the Chief of Construction, Construction Services Manager and the Construction Project Analyst with administrative tasks within the division.
The City of Foster City is looking for a Parks Maintenance Supervisor who will oversee landscape maintenance operations within the Park Maintenance Division. This role involves coordinating activities across divisions, conducting technical tasks, and contributing to the enhancement of our community's outdoor spaces. The position involves a blend of maintenance duties and supervisory responsibilities, including assisting in work assignment, evaluation, discipline recommendations, and staff training.
The Urban Forestry Division of the City of Fremont has two paid internships available for immediate hiring. Through a variety of tasks and duties, interns will gain well-rounded, first-hand work experience and observational knowledge in the fields of urban forestry management and municipal administration.
