Under general direction, the Web and Database Administrator coordinates the design, development, programming, and maintenance of the City’s Internet and Intranet web sites; maintains on premise and cloud databases and related services, including the security, effectiveness, efficiency, appeal and troubleshooting of databases; and develops databases and/or web applications that are in compliance with applicable city government requirements, standards and best practices.
ABOUT THE POSITION
Police Officer Trainees will attend a Basic Police Academy course to meet the minimum required training mandates governed by the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) for entry level Law Enforcement. Upon successful completion of the Basic Police Academy, Police Officer Trainees are transitioned to a Police Officer position, and enter the Field Training Program.
The City of Brisbane is currently recruiting for non-sworn Police Officer Trainee candidates. This is for individuals that have no prior law enforcement experience and have not received POST certified police academy training. Trainees are paid while attending a POST-certified Police Academy. Upon successful completion of the police academy and upon availability of a police officer position, trainees are eligible to be sworn in as a Police Officer and become eligible for salary and benefits as outlined in the Brisbane Police Officers Association Memorandum of Understanding.
