The Accounting Technician II is a journey-level and specialized class in the paraprofessional accounting series that performs a variety of technical duties in support of the City's Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) systems. This position is represented by the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), Local 1021 and is primarily focused on the Accounts Receivable (A/R) function.
POSITION: Under direct supervision of the Traffic Enforcement Project Specialist, the Public Service Assistant II will perform administrative tasks in support of the Police Department Red Light Camera Unit. The position may work up to 20 hours a week.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
· Order and prepare court packets of red light violation from Red Flex for review by court commissioner and defendants.
· Prepare trial by declaration packets.
