Woodside Fire Protection District offers an exceptional Cadet Program for individuals interested in a career in the Fire Service. Cadets gain hands-on experience participating in training and public service events. Cadets work 24-hour shifts and ride-along on emergency calls.
Woodside Cadets will work and be involved in:
Emergency calls, firefighter training, public education events, fire prevention, station duties, CERPP, CPR/first aid training. They must also meet monthly hour requirements and attend monthly training drills.
The Dixon Fire Department is opening their first Firefighter/Paramedic Recruit position for someone to attend the Fire Academy in August 2024. Under general direction of the Director of Budget and Electronic Revenue and reporting to the Electronic Revenue Programs Manager, the Electronic Revenue Collection Analyst is responsible for supporting the daily functionality and collecting revenue accurately, especially for the AET program and Clipper program. The District utilizes a regional electronic-based fare system (Clipper) for the Ferry and Bus Systems and administers an All-Electronic Toll (AET) collection system for Bridge tolls.
