DEFINITION:
Under general direction of Recreation Supervisor and Recreation Program Coordinator, the Community and Recreation Program Specialist will assist in coordinating and implementing various community and recreation programs as well as assist with office duties, facility responsibilities, and perform related work as assigned.
CLASS CHARACTERISTICS
LARPD is seeking a summer intern to support the Summer Youth Volunteer Program. Applicants should have the equivalent of one year of college credits completed toward a degree. The TAMC Executive Director seeks a Finance Officer/Analyst serves a critical role in the financial operations of the agency. This position encompasses a wide array of activities such as financial planning, budgeting, cost management, maximizing revenues, fiscal controls, reporting, and auditing. TAMC manages six different trust funds which support its projects and programs. The Finance Officer oversees the recordkeeping for these funds, as well as tracking the grants that fund some of the agency’s projects.
A Dispatcher II is a civilian employee of the Police Department who performs a variety of tasks in the Department’s Support Services Division. The Dispatcher II acts as the Department’s primary dispatcher, receiving and relaying incoming calls for emergency and non-emergency assistance; dispatching police units; operating a variety of telecommunications equipment including radio, telephone, and computer-aided dispatch systems; status monitoring, records and file maintenance in a computer-aided environment; and entry level dispatch training.
