CHIEF EQUIPMENT MECHANIC

DEFINITION: Under general supervision from the Public Works Manager, leads skilled and semi-skilled mechanics in the most difficult and complex vehicle and equipment maintenance and repair work; and personally makes the most complex mechanical repairs to automotive, diesel, and other power driven equipment. The incumbent exercises functional and technical supervision over lower level, equipment maintenance staff.

The City of San Dimas Parks and Recreation Department offers a basketball league for youth ages 8-14 that emphasizes teaching fundamentals, sportsmanship, teamwork and fun. The program runs from December until March. Coaches must be available for practices two days per week scheduled between the hours of 2:45 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. and games Saturdays, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (all times approximate).
