The City of Dixon is recruiting to fill two (2) part-time (24 hours per week) positions of Transit Dispatcher and to establish an eligibility list for future use. This position receives ride requests and quickly and efficiently organizes, schedules and routes Readi-Ride bus requests; operates equipment to relay requests to drivers; reads maps and assists drivers with directions and alternative routes; assists in collecting information related to the operation of the transit system; works closely with Transit Supervisor to ensure routes are properly scheduled; and performs related duties.

DEFINITION: The Cadet Program is designed to introduce recent high school graduates (ages 18 to 24) to a law enforcement career and to prepare them for entry into the Police Academy.
