WHAT: CARD is currently looking for basketball officials. Officials are required to know CARD’s basketball rules and enforce them safely and fairly during games, while making sure all players/coaches/spectators are gaining a “love of the game” in a positive environment.
Chico Area Recreation & Park District is accepting applications for an Adult Sports Field/Gym Specialist. Under the general supervision of the Sports Supervisors, the Field/Gym Specialist will direct, oversee, supervise and implement a variety of adult and youth sports leagues/programs. The Field/Gym Specialist is responsible for supervising staff and participants, and enforcing program rules. This position requires a general knowledge of softball and other applicable sports.
Coordinate new and existing special events for the Chico Area Recreation and Park District (CARD)
Employment Dates: ASAP - 12/2018
Schedule: Hours will vary by week depending on the schedule of special events. Hours will range from 0-28 per week. Most special events are on weekends, some on evenings.
Position: The Recreation Specialist will be the lead person on existing special events (Breakfast with Santa, Movies in the Park, etc.) and on new special events in 2018. Support staff and volunteers will be available.
The City of Winters seeks an enthusiastic individual for a part-time Instructional Aid and Substitute Instructional Aide for the After School Program. You must be able to work between the hours of 1:00 pm - 6:30 pm daily.
The City of Winters seeking Community Center/Facility Attendants to assist the public with rental and us of its Community Center and other City facilities. These facilities will provide space for banquets, receptions and community meetings. Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
The specific work schedule(s) of a Community Center/Facility Attendant may vary based on the needs of the City. These positions will be flexibly scheduled as needed. Part-Time employees are limited to working no more than 1,000 hours each fiscal Year.
Exercise instructor for MWF stretch and tone class for participants who are 50+. Class is a slow paced workout that includes low impact stretching, strength building, cardiovascular fitness and uses exercise bands. Mats and bands are provided, class has a following. Class time is 9:00-10:00 am. Classes are generally 4 week sessions and dates are set through January 2019. Compensation is 50% of enrollment fees.
