THE POSITION:
Under the direction of the Pool Manager, the Assistant Pool Manager is responsible for assigned aquatic program areas, and acts as Pool Manager during the Pool Manager’s absence. Under direct supervision of the Pool Supervisor, The Lifeguard has the responsibility to enforce the safety standards, rules, and regulations of the City’s Pool program; to rescue swimmers in distress and administer First Aid and CPR when it is needed; This position includes ensuring the safety of all pool patrons, be alert of all activities in and around the pool while on duty and to assist with general maintenance and cleanup activities and performs related work as required. Summary Description
Under the direction of an assigned supervisor/coordinator, the Senior Recreation Leader is responsible for implementing programs at a given site, including administering program curriculum and supervising program staff. This is an at-will, intermittent, part-time, hourly wage position without City-paid benefits. Work a flexible work schedule, which may include evening, weekdays, weekends and holidays.
SWIM INSTRUCTOR/LIFEGUARD
$17.50 to $19.29 per hour
This position is not eligible for City benefits other than those mandated by Federal and State Law
Position is Seasonal Part-time for the 2024 Summer season
