RECREATION UTILITY WORKER
Under the general supervision of the Director of Recreation and the Director of Grounds and Maintenance, the utility person performs duties assigned by either of these supervisors as needed. This includes but is not limited to Recreation responsibilities, grounds work, maintenance work, and other emergency services as required.
To perform a variety of semi-skilled and skilled tasks in the construction, maintenance, and repair of water lines, sewers, storm drains, and pump stations. The purpose of this recruitment is to fill current temporary/part time vacancies in the Sanitary Sewer/Storm Drainage Systems Division. Candidates selected for hire will be placed in either the UMW Intern or UMW I position based on previous training, certifications, years of experience and ability to meet the minimum qualifications.
The City of Glendora seeks an enthusiastic, customer service oriented and highly motivated individual to complement our team in the Water Division of our Public Works Department as a part-time Water Conservation Officer. Under direction, the part time Water Conservation Officer is responsible for conducting investigations and enforcement action against violators of the Glendora Municipal Code and other County and State Codes.
We have one full-time, temporary, Field Pipeline Locator internship within the District in the Records Department of the Environmental & Engineering Services Division. Intern Assignments are for a 40 hour week. Duration of this assignment is expected to up to five (5) months, but can be terminated at any time. Positions operate out of MMWD’s Corte Madera location.
