In this role you will have the opportunity to be part of the team responsible for implementing the City’s Housing Trust Fund and Small Sites Programs. This position will work on renovations and new construction projects, the latter of which will include developments at the North Berkeley and Ashby BART sites. You'll work closely with nonprofit developers to underwrite project proposals, recommend funding, negotiate loan and regulatory agreements, and monitor project progress.

POSITION
Under general supervision, plans, performs maintenance and repair work of the City’s utility systems and does related work as required.
The Water Operator is an entry-level position. Incumbents learn and perform a variety of semi-skilled duties in the construction, operation, maintenance, and repair of the City’s potable water distribution and distribution, wastewater, stormwater systems, equipment, and facilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
This is a part-time non-benefited position. Work schedule is flexible up to 29 hours per week.
This position will be assigned to Utilities Division of the Public Works Department.
