The Information Services Department seeks a qualified Network Engineer - IS Communication Specialist II.
This position is responsible for design, configuration, maintenance, and fault isolation of the County enterprise network including: network security, routing, switching, wireless LAN, WAN, VOIP, Virtual Private Networking, testing, and repairing network infrastructure. This individual may exercise technical and functional direction over lower-level staff and may also provide training on a project basis.

TRAFFIC ENGINEERING ASSOCIATE
Development Services Department, Transportation Division
The current salary range for this position is $5,632 - $7,715 month; 37.5 hour/week. Flexible schedule will include evenings and weekends.
Under direction of a Division Manager, this position is primarily responsible for the day-to-day responsibilities related to municipal traffic operations within the Town of Danville.
About the Position
This position is responsible for assisting City GIS staff in supporting various desktop and web based applications currently deployed. This individual works under the supervision of the GIS Senior Analyst through the GIS Specialist and will have a primary focus on feature development, system maintenance, and map production. Successful completion of work tasks and projects under this internship are expected to produce materials suitable for inclusion in resumes and future job applications.
Preference will be given to candidates that demonstrate recent experience in traffic engineering and possess a valid Professional Traffic Engineer (TE) license issued by the State of California.
