The Dixon Fire Department is looking to fill a full-time vacancy for a Fire Captain and to establish an eligibility list for any future vacancies. This position coordinates and directs advanced firefighting activities, emergency medical aids, emergency rescue and other emergency and prevention activities, in protecting life and property; oversees subordinate personnel engaged in training, station and equipment maintenance; assists and participates in training programs; drives, operates and maintains all fire apparatus and equipment. THE POSITION:

The City of San Rafael Fire Department is seeking customer service and public safety focused individuals to join the wildfire mitigation team. Under supervision, inspectors will perform a variety of wildfire prevention duties with a focus on one-on-one education via property wildfire risk evaluations.  The Inspector’s efforts will support resident compliance with City and State Fire codes.

The customer-service oriented positions will support the City’s and Marin Wildfire Fire Prevention Authorities (MWPA)’s goals. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Learn and apply City and State Fire Codes and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards.

The Yuba County Sheriff's Department is responsible for the administration of the Yuba County Jail and Jail staff.   The Mission of the Yuba County Jail is to provide safe, efficient, humane and secure custody of all persons incarcerated.  The county prisoner population is made up of those who are sentenced to county jail, those serving state prison sentences in the county jail under AB109, and those who are pre-trial and who have not yet been sentenced. Candidates who are hired as Beach Lifeguards must be available for 40 hours per week for the entire summer season.  This requirement may be waived for extenuating circumstances on a case-by-case basis.
