The Department of Public Works Technology Services Section is recruiting to fill multiple Geographic Systems Specialist I/II (GSS I/II) positions on the Enterprise GIS Team. These are data-focused positions that will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and ensuring the integrity of enterprise GIS datasets as well as providing ongoing support for Enterprise GIS activities and development of technology solutions that maximize the delivery of City products and services. The individuals selected for these positions will work primarily in the production group of the Enterprise GIS Team.
Position & Duties
The Community Energy Department is seeking to fill one (1) full-time Power Resources Specialist I/II position to the Regulatory and Legislative Compliance Division. This position reports directly to the Division Manager of Regulatory and Legislative Policy and will support a variety of Regulatory and Legislative Policy functions.
The Environmental Services Department provides comprehensive and innovative utility services for Sunnyvale's residents and businesses and facilitates initiatives to achieve the City's sustainability objectives. The City of Sunnyvale is actively seeking a highly energetic, skilled, and motivated individual to join a well-established municipality as a Public Works Construction Inspector. The individual will perform quality assurance inspections on typical City capital construction projects. These projects include but are not limited to roadway rehabilitation, water, storm and sewer lines replacement, water stations and plants, wastewater and solid waste processing, parks, traffic systems and building upgrades and rehabilitation.
