Under the supervision of the Building/Code Compliance Coordinator and the Chief Building Official/Senior Plans Examiner, the Building/Code Compliance Inspector performs work in the areas of building, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, energy, green, zoning, and residential fire protection inspections; various aspects of code enforcement; and other duties as assigned.

CLASS CHARACTERISTICS

This is the journey-level, professional class that is expected to read plans, make code interpretations, have comprehensive knowledge of construction materials and techniques, and be able to perform field inspections (both Building and Code Enforcement) on their own.

This position is distinguished from the next higher class of Senior Building/Code Compliance Inspector by the latter providing training, technical advice, and lead assistance to incumbent inspectors. The Building/Code Compliance Inspector is further distinguished from the lower level of Building/Code Compliance Trainee in that the latter is the entry-level class, and is in training, learning the full scope of the assigned duties and responsibilities.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES (illustrative only):

• Inspecting residential, commercial, and industrial occupancies for compliance with building, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, energy, green, zoning and fire protection codes and standards.
• Recommending solutions or corrective actions to problems and taking follow up actions to ensure discrepancies are corrected.
• Performing various functions related to code enforcement (e.g., inspections, noticing, follow-up with owners, and research).
• Communicating effectively, both orally and in writing, to a wide variety of audiences.
• Writing reports and preparing correspondence pertaining to assigned duties.
• Keeping pertinent records.
• Utilizing personal computers to access the permitting system, GIS (geographic information system, various other software applications, and perform word processing functions.
• Consulting with architects, engineers, contractors, business owners, and homeowners.
• Using appropriate safety practices.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

PROGRAM LEADER (SPORTS AND FITNESS)

Salary Range: $16.54 to $22.05/hour, DOE

This is a part-time, temporary, non-benefitted position; 15-20 hours per week (not to exceed 950 hours per calendar year); predominantly afternoon/evening schedule, some weekends.

DEFINITION

The Town seeks gym monitors, scorekeepers, and leaders for a variety of youth and adult sports. Sports may include, but are not limited to basketball, softball, and bocce ball. Sports knowledge is preferred. All staff will be cross-trained for multiple sports. CPR/FA certification is recommended but not required.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED

Program Leader receives supervision from the Program Coordinator and/or Program

Assistant.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

A typical way of gaining the knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position is: Possession of an M.D. or D.O degree from an accredited medical or osteopathic school and completion of a psychiatric residency training program approved by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

About the Position 

The City of Fremont's Finance Department is seeking a full-time Accounting Specialist I/II that will support the Revenue function. The incumbent will provide a variety of customer service, financial and accounting duties in the preparation, maintenance and processing of accounting records and financial transactions. The Position

The Senior Accounting Specialist is responsible for a variety of advanced level fiscal clerical assignments. This position provides administrative support of federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnership Programs (HOME) programs related to affordable housing and services to low income residents.

Examples of Job Duties

• Prepare and execute contracts for CDBG, ESG, HOME, and SSG Grant Programs.
• Provide contract administration/clerical support, which includes keeping and maintaining detailed records and information required by federal grant programs.
• Prepare and execute purchases orders, process invoices, and keep grant accounting records.
• Provide support of the CDBG Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC) meetings and provide assistance through the coordination of the meeting schedule, preparation of meeting agendas, summary notes of meetings, and other materials (requires evening attendance).

The position description:

Tri-City Mental Health Authority is looking for to fill multiple vacancies for the Bilingual Behavioral Health Specialist (BHS) for the Adult Services Department. The BHS will be performing central scheduling duties and provide behavioral health support services to individuals as a part of these departments. The BHS will provide support to the team assisting with duties related to network adequacy, data tracking,  processing service requests, screenings, and linkage to mental health services. The BHS will report to their direct supervisor.
