The City of Redwood City’s Library Department is looking for energetic, enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working with customers of all ages in a challenging and fun environment, and who are interested in working 10-15 hours per week including day, evening and weekend hours.
The City of Salinas, Library and Community Services Department is accepting applications for Library Pages to accommodate a schedule of seven (7) days per week. Temporary assignments consist of varied schedules that may work at any of the three libraries: John Steinbeck, Cesar Chavez or El Gabilan. Temporary employees may not exceed a maximum of 25 work hours per week and 1,000 work hours per fiscal year (fiscal year runs from July 1 – June 30).
The library seeks per diem librarians to work in either adult services or youth services. Possession of a Master of Library Science degree from an American Library Association accredited college or university is required; previous public library experience desirable but not required. This is an on-call position that would fill coverage gaps on the library’s service desks at the main library or at our branch.
