Salary

Child Care Aide: $16.50 - $19.50 per hour, part time, non-benefited, typically limited to 1,000 hours per year.  

Child Care Associate Teacher: $20.00 - $25.50 per hour, part time, non-benefited, typically limited to 1,000 hours per year.

CHILD CARE AIDE

This position will work directly with a Child Care Site Coordinator or Lead Teacher at varying pre-school or K-6/ K-8 school sites based on program needs. The Child Care Aide is responsible for leading activities and supervising small groups of children in State-funded Title V programs.

BASIC EXAMPLE OF DUTIES

Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Assisting staff in implementing youth recreation activities, sports, arts, crafts, and other age-appropriate activities
• Maintaining discipline, site safety and observe the overall physical and emotional well-being of the program participants

THE POSITION

The City of Rocklin is looking for a seasoned IT professional with a passion for leading teams, driving innovation, and transforming City services through technology. The IT Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the City's strategies and ensuring alignment with the City's mission and objectives. This position will oversee and mentor a team of skilled IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture, but also actively participating in the day-to-day operational tasks and responsibilities of the team.

The IT Manager will be responsible for the following upcoming projects:

• Developing a strategic plan for the IT division to foster transparency, increase operational efficiency, improve staff satisfaction, and to bolster trust.
• Replacing the outdated document management and retention system.
• Investing in technology that supports economic development efforts.

An example of duties are:

• Manages, directs, and organizes projects, activities, and resources for the IT Division, including but not limited to networks, servers, workstations, hardware and software utilized throughout the City, IoT, mobile and telephony infrastructure, security systems, data transmission, telecommunication systems, Geographic Information Systems and full IT support for all areas in public safety.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Possession of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Services or a closely related field;

Eight (8) years of increasingly responsible infrastructure and enterprise applications management experience in an IT environment consisting of multiple platforms, large-scale applications with multiple operating systems which included a minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience.

Licenses and Certifications

• Possession of, or ability to obtain and maintain, a valid California Class C Driver License and a satisfactory driving record is required. Individuals who do not meet this requirement due to a disability will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
• Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE), VMware Certified Professional (VCP), or Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications are highly desirable.

The City of Newark is seeking energetic, organized, and responsible individuals who enjoy working with school-age children. Recreation Leaders will assist in the implementation and planning of a wide variety of arts and crafts, sports, games, special events, and excursions. The County of Yuba is currently recruiting for the position of Deputy County Counsel II/III in the Office of County Counsel. Under the direction of the County Counsel and Chief Deputy County Counsel, attorneys in this series perform professional legal work by preparing and trying civil cases and providing legal counsel and assistance to the County, it’s officers, associated boards and commissions, as well as outside agencies; assist departments in interpreting regulations on a wide range of topics; represent officers and employees in litigation; and perform duties as assigned.  The Deputy County Counsel I/II/III classification is flexibly staffed and depending on background and experience, may be filled directly at the Deputy County Counsel II or III level. Involvement in formal litigation and discretionary authority increases as the incumbent progresses through the various levels.

Examples of Duties Level I:

• Researches, interprets and applies laws, court decision, statutes, ordinances and other legal authorities for use in the preparation of legal opinions, briefs, pleadings, notes, and memoranda; prepares legal reports, opinions, briefs and appeals of average difficulty under general supervision.  
• Represents, confers with and advises County officials, employees and district representatives on legal questions pertaining to their respective powers, duties, functions and obligations; may attend meetings of boards and commissions in order to provide legal advice and counsel.

• Makes recommendations to the County Counsel concerning the advisability to prosecute, compromise or dismiss civil litigation.
• Drafts proposed legislation, analyzes pending legislation and recommends County position on legislation.

THE POSITION

This position is focused on coordinating and monitoring information technology operational systems for the City including analyzing, diagnosing, maintaining, and troubleshooting assigned system areas such as applications, operating systems, and database systems. This position has a wide breadth of responsibility and is the backbone for ensuring the City’s technology systems always stay up and running. An example of duties are:

• Performs configuration, modification, testing and implementation of vendor software; develops, coordinates and implements plans to test business and functional processes during system development and quality assurance testing.
• Assists with the installation of new and existing software; ensures training of staff in the use of new and existing software.
• Conducts systems analysis; develops business and technical requirements; designs functional and technical specifications; writes source code; tests applications.
• Assists with the planning and coordination of migrations from legacy systems and the implementation of ongoing maintenance of new computer systems.

• Acts as a technical resource for staff; identifies and suggests alternatives and recommends process changes through information systems; assists in identifying potential and required changes to business processes and/or procedures.
• Performs related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be:

Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree with major coursework in MIS, business, management, or a closely related field;

AND

Four (4) years of progressively responsible professional experience in computer technology.

Technical certifications are highly desirable.

The Budgets and Financial Planning & Analysis Section is responsible for developing and managing the organization's budgets, performing financial analysis and forecasting, developing financial plans and supporting effective financial management throughout MTC, ABAG and affiliated entities.

Under the general direction of the Assistant Director, the Associate Budget and Grant Financial Analyst is responsible for preparation and monitoring of the operating and capital budgets, grant management, compliance and reporting of assigned entities. Experience:  Five years of increasingly complex and responsible work experience in treasury, governmental budgeting, governmental fund accounting, or similar field, including the equivalent of two years as an Assistant Financial Analyst in MTC.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the general direction of the Assistant Director, specific assignments and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:    

• Develop and manage annual budgets, ensuring accuracy and alignment with agency priorities.
• Monitor expenditures, identify variances and work closely with section and project managers to address financial issues.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial analysis; assist with monthly and year-end close activities, including financial reconciliation and reporting.
• Conduct variance analysis, identify key performance drivers, and provide explanations for budget deviations.
• Review and monitor grants, from grant application to project closeout, including grant compliance, reporting requirements, and financial management.

Deputy District Attorneys perform professional legal services in the prosecution of a variety of criminal and/or civil matters on behalf of the District Attorney and perform other related work as assigned.

Deputy District Attorney I-II-III:

MTC’s Technology Services Section (TSS) is a mature IT organization serving approximately 400 customers. The diverse and inclusive section employs a team of dedicated professionals that exhibit outstanding emotional intelligence and outstanding customer service traits. The team provides support to building technology in the 500,000 square foot Bay Area Metro Center. TSS also operates a shared services organization that serves two additional government agencies for a total of approximately 1,000 customers. Managing administrative support services; budget development, analysis and management; business or public administration; presenting to boards, commissions and/or committees, responding to public inquiries and requests, reporting to executive management.

Preferred Experience:  At least 5-7 years in IT Management
