The Library Services Department is seeking innovative, collaborative, and technologically savvy individuals for the Public Services teams at the Thousand Oaks Library. The accomplished library professionals will provide excellent customer service to a diverse population, including adults, teens, and children.

Recreation Specialist (Part Time)
$22.07 – $27.74 hourly (20-25 hours per week) without benefits

Immediate need is in the following programs but not limited to:
Monday – Friday, 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. plus weekends as needed;
The Program Coordinator - Arts will coordinate the City’s Arts and Special Events programming; including the Recreation Department’s art activities, programs and events, and supporting the Arts Commission initiatives and programs, and performs related work as required. This is a unique position, affording the appointee the opportunity to develop a program from the ground up and leave a legacy.
The actual salary shall be determined by the final candidate’s qualifications and experience. In addition to the starting salary, employees in the Program Manager classification shall also receive an approximate five percent (5%) ongoing non-pensionable compensation pay.
The Deputy Finance Director will work closely with the Finance Director, division managers, and City management to provide a wide range of comprehensive services to the organization. This position assists in the management and day-to-day operations of the Department and acts in the absence of the Finance Director. The Deputy Finance Director directly supervises each of the division managers and directs the development, implementation, and evaluation of plans, policies, systems, and procedures to achieve Department priorities.
