The County of San Mateo is looking for a Spanish/English bilingual individual to join the Office of Community Affairs, as an Outreach Coordinator.
The Office of Community Affairs manages activities performed previously by the North Fair Oaks Outreach Team. The Outreach Team was formed in response to Supervisor Warren Slocum's request for a coordinated approach to informing and engaging the North Fair Oaks community in county sponsored projects and services that will affect their future.
The Crossing Guard position is a temporary position, approximately five hours per day, two hours in the morning and three hours in the afternoon, Monday through Friday. Crossing guards work a school year (September thru June). Applicants must be able to work outdoors, have reliable transportation or ability to report to assignment consistently.
The City of San Jose is recruiting for a part-time School Crossing Guards in the Police Department during the normal school year. Work involves providing for the safe conduct of elementary and junior high school children across heavily traveled streets and reporting problems requiring possible police action.
