THE POSITION

Tri-City is looking for a special individual to serve as a Clinical Therapist I/II for the Children’s Full Service Partnership/Children and Transitional Age Youth (FSP/ C TAY). The Clinical Therapist I/II provides behavioral health clinical intervention and recovery services to assigned clients and their families; develops treatment plans and performs individual, group, and family psychotherapeutic counseling, routine and emergency assessment, crisis intervention, and related treatment services; manages an assigned caseload of adults, juveniles, and/or children; provides consultation to other staff, programs, and agencies related to treatment needs and plans; and performs related duties as assigned.

This position is responsible for a variety of ongoing responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• Provides individual, group, and family interventions, rehabilitation, and treatment services including counseling, therapy, case management, and referral and linkage to community services to a variety of clients including high acuity clients.

• Within scope of authority, assesses, diagnoses, and treats a variety of clients with mental health disorders; collaborates with clients and creates individualized treatments plans according to client’s needs and circumstances.

• Initiates and conducts individual, group, and family counseling and biopsychosocial therapy sessions utilizing a variety of techniques and modalities; provides case management services in the office and in the field.

• Performs routine and emergency intake evaluations according to Authority procedure; completes appropriate forms and documents relating to the intake process; and prepares medical and demographic case history for use in diagnosis.

• Assists clients and family members in understanding behavioral health diagnosis, contributing factors/causes, effects, prognosis, rehabilitation, and treatment.

• Works with clients to address stressors and barriers to treatment and/or social functioning; identifies and focuses on client strengths and personal resources to effectively engage and treat client.

The Yuba County Sheriff’s Department is currently recruiting for two full-time Animal Care Services Officer. Under close supervision, incumbents enforces State and County laws regarding stray, dangerous, rabid, nuisance and unwanted domestic animals; investigates complaints; patrols assigned areas; captures animals; removes dead animals from public and private properties; assist in feeding and cleaning animal enclosures; assist with euthanizations and disposal of animals in a humane and prescribed method and performs other duties related to humane animal protection and control; performs related work as assigned including assisting the public with drop off, pick up and adoption of animals as necessary.  This is a working level class in animal control, responsible for enforcing applicable regulations in a limited public officer capacity. Successful performance of the work requires skill in dealing with the public in difficult situations as well as a willingness to handle animals that may be injured or ill.

Animal Care Services is a division of the Sheriff's Department.  Animal Care Services provides services for the unincorporated areas of Yuba County and is located in Olivehurst, California.  Animal Care Services care for lost animals, injured and abandon animals, and a provide variety of services that protect both citizens and animals. Most importantly, they keep lost pets safe and happy so they can be reunited with their owner or adopted into a new family.

The County of Yuba is currently recruiting for the  flexibly staffed position of Elections Clerk I-II in the Elections Division within the Clerk-Recorder’s Office for both Extra Help and Full Time positions. This position reports directly to the Registrar of Voters Manager. The City of Auburn is looking for a Transportation Supervisor to join our team!

The Transportation Supervisor is an important part of the City's transit team that provide services including the Auburn Loop fixed route and Auburn OnDemand ride share programs.

DEFINITION:
Under general administrative direction of the City Manager, plans, directs, manages, and oversees the activities and operations of the Public Works Department including streets, utilities, water treatment and wastewater treatment, ensures all resources within each division are properly allocated and managed; provides long range planning for department programs, projects, and needs; coordinates assigned activities with other departments and outside agencies; and provides highly responsible and complex administrative support to the City Manager.

CLASS CHARACTERISTICS:
The Director of Public Works is considered a Department Director with responsibility for directing the activities of a Department within the City. Positions at this class level serve as a member of the City's senior management team and provide advice and counsel to the City Manager regarding strategic policy and problem solving issues relating to the assigned Department and the City overall. The incumbent is responsible for accomplishing the City's goals and objectives related to assigned program areas.

The Dixon Fire Department is looking to fill a full-time vacancy for a Fire Captain and to establish an eligibility list for any future vacancies. This position coordinates and directs advanced firefighting activities, emergency medical aids, emergency rescue and other emergency and prevention activities, in protecting life and property; oversees subordinate personnel engaged in training, station and equipment maintenance; assists and participates in training programs; drives, operates and maintains all fire apparatus and equipment. THE POSITION

The Parks and Recreation Department is looking for staff to assist with events at the Rocklin Events Center and other locations in the City. The Events Venue Specialist (Program Assistant) is a temporary position and incumbents work on an as-needed basis, not to exceed 28 hours per week and up to 999 hours per fiscal year. Temporary employment does not provide any guarantee of continued employment and the City of Rocklin may end the assignment at any time. Temporary employees are not eligible for any other benefits except where required by law and there is no guarantee of future permanent employment.

Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Performs light janitorial duties (e.g., empty trash, clean restrooms, and restock supplies) before, during, and after events.
• Sets up audio visual equipment at venue site.
• Checks clients in and out of City venues.
• Takes prospective renters on tours of facilities and answers questions about pricing and equipment at each rental location.
• Ensures client needs are met.

THE  SCHEDULE 

A typical schedule looks like this:  

Evening and Night shifts Sunday through Thursday

Shifts vary from 7am - 1am Friday and Saturday

Night and weekend availability is required.

Licenses and Certifications

The County of Yuba is currently recruiting for Extra Help-Cook within the Yuba County Jail. Under close supervision, prepares and provides institutional meals following federal and state nutritional guidelines, and performs other duties as assigned.  Yuba County staffs the Cook classification at the County Jail division in the Sheriff’s department  This position performs a full range of tasks associated with the preparation and distribution of meals to juvenile detainees and adult inmates.  The incumbent ensures that properly prepared nutritional meals are produced in a large volume, institutional setting.  Responsibilities also include overseeing detainees and/or inmates and institution workers assisting with food preparation. 

For successful performance, the incumbent would be required to have knowledge of principles, methods and equipment used in high volume meal preparation in an institutional setting; basic food groups and nutritional values; safe work practices related to food preparation, storage and service; basic business arithmetic; and basic inventory and record keeping principles and practices. Skill in overseeing and preparing meals in a large scale, institutional setting; overseeing and training others in basic cooking and work procedures; operating, cleaning and performing minor maintenance to large institutional food preparation and cooking equipment; maintaining accurate records and preparing work related reports; directing others in work procedures; and reading, understanding and following recipes and oral and written directions. The Yuba County Sheriff's Department is responsible for the administration of the Yuba County Jail and Jail staff.   The Mission of the Yuba County Jail is to provide safe, efficient, humane and secure custody of all persons incarcerated.  The county prisoner population is made up of those who are sentenced to county jail, those serving state prison sentences in the county jail under AB109, and those who are pre-trial and who have not yet been sentenced. Upon satisfactory completion of the PHN Certification, the PHN Intern are eligible for promotion to the level of PHN.
