The Enterprise Strategic Support Engineer will be providing hybrid meetings and Council systems strategic support under the Productivity and Collaboration Application Program. This role and responsibilities will address help desk tickets submitted from the City Council Offices and City Manager’s Office to resolve speed, capacity, and security issues of software applications, application performance upgrades, equipment and/or complications from urgent hybrid meetings. In addition, the position will work to develop and recommend design plans for the various software applications; and provide training to help acclimate staff with current and upgraded software applications. City Council and City Manager’s Office software applications include, but not limited to, district websites, collaboration and productivity software, a constituent relationship management system, mass communications software, and disaster device software support.

- Advanced experience with Microsoft 365 services including but not limited to SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Office Online, Teams, and Office 365 Groups.
- Proficient in developing advanced PowerShell scripts.
- Experience with Office 365 eDiscovery.
- In-depth knowledge related to the Office 365 applications and features including Azure Directory.
- SSO integration between Office 365 and major SSO providers.
- Strong knowledge related to email security and security practice in general.
- Advanced M365 platform configuration and troubleshooting, and patching, preferably using SCCM or Intune.
- Microsoft 365 Messaging Administrator Associate and Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert certifications are highly desirable.
- Experience with Multifactor authentication in Azure AD
- 2+ years of experience managing and troubleshooting Active Directory, Active Directory Federation Services, Azure AD, and Azure AD Connect is highly desirable.
- 2+ years of experience administering and troubleshooting Office 365 Exchange Online is highly desirable.
- Ability to facilitate support of the following applications:
- Constituent Relationship Management system;
- Mass communications software; and/or,
- Disaster device software support.

Salary Information:
- Enterprise Information Technology Engineer I: $105,040.00 – $127,795.20 annually
- Enterprise Information Technology Engineer II: $111,280.00 – $135,595.20 annually
The actual salary shall be determined by the final candidate’s qualifications and experience. In addition to the starting salary, employees in the Enterprise Information Technology Engineer (EITE) I/II shall also receive an approximate five percent (5%) ongoing non-pensionable compensation pay.
