The Newark Recreation and Community Services Department is looking for Lifeguards for our fantastic swim lessons and aquatic programs at the Silliman Activity & Family Aquatic Center. The Newark Recreation and Community Services Department seeks motivated, self-driven individuals passionate about working with the public. Customer Service Representative involves substantial contact with customers, program contractors, instructors, and staff, working in the café or as a birthday party host. Various tasks may be assigned, from the front desk to facility setup/clean up.
This position requires you to work at our indoor water park and recreation center.
You must be able to work 15-20 hours a week between 5:30 am and 9:30 pm.

PROGRAM ASSISTANT (Theatre Technician)
Salary Range: $17.64 to $29.22/hour, DOE
- This is a part-time temporary, non-benefitted position.
- Flexible schedule of 15-20 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends; not-to-exceed 950 hours per calendar year.
- This position is located at Village Theatre and Art Gallery.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED AND RECEIVED
General supervision is received from Program Coordinator. This position does not exercise supervision over others.

THE POSITION / JOB DUTIES
The Police Public Service Assistant (PSA) III is assigned to the Police Department’s Equipment Room and provides daily support with the customer service and equipment room operations. Examples of job duties include:
· Issues and collects equipment, vehicles, and weapons to and from Police Department staff
· Maintains inventory and accounts for all equipment assigned to the Equipment Room
· Transports and coordinates repair of Police Department vehicles
