Under the leadership and direction of the Deputy Director of the Planning and Development Division for the Airport, the Senior Engineer position is a strategic leader that leads a wide range of professional and para-professional team members who perform a variety of multi-disciplinary Airport projects in the development, management, and delivery of projects in the Airport Capital Improvement Program (CIP) and the Airport Master Plan Program of various and considerable complexities. The County of Yuba is currently recruiting for the  flexibly staffed position of Elections Clerk I-II in the Elections Division within the Clerk-Recorder’s Office for both Extra Help and Full Time positions. This position reports directly to the Registrar of Voters Manager. ABOUT THE POSITION

VOLUNTEER WORK SCHEDULE

THE POSITION: 

The City of San Pablo is actively recruiting for a Community Services Coordinator I/II position to plan, organize, and direct services and programs within the Community Services Department for our senior population, volunteer programs and city-wide special events. Our senior programs provide opportunities for adults 50 years of age and older, to engage in active and healthy programming. The City of Auburn is hiring a Finance Technician in the City's Finance Department. This is a newly added position to the department and we are looking for an experienced and dynamic finance professional to join our team!

This position will primarily focus on payroll. Upon hire, the incumbent will jump right into learning the City's payroll processes and work regularly with human resources each payroll. In addition to payroll, the incumbent will perform work in various finance and accounting duties of the department.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Finance Technician works under general supervision of the Finance Director to perform a variety of clerical and technical accounting work; including assisting in the preparation, maintenance and processing of accounting records and financial transactions related to payroll, licensing, accounts payable and accounts receivable; assisting in budget preparation and monitoring; verify balances and adjust accounts; prepares various fiscal reports and provide information and assistance to City staff and the general public.

Duties include programmatic general accounting (general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll), support of budget planning and development, and preparing journal entries; assisting with the annual audit, and other administrative activities in the Finance Department. DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS

This is the entry-level professional class in the Finance series. The candidate will have experience in all areas of risk management including risk identification and analysis, prevention and transfer, loss control and prevention, the development of risk mitigation policies and training programs, and have demonstrated the ability to successfully lead cutting-edge, cross-departmental risk mitigation efforts for a public agency. The candidate's expert knowledge and adaptable approach will provide the needed foundation to manage effectively in a complex environment with varying lines of business and stakeholders. This individual will have the opportunity to develop and manage an effective and well-coordinated risk management program.
