Senior Center Required Work Hours
MONDAY – FRIDAY, 9:00am - 3:00pm with an hour unpaid lunch break; and some nights, weekends plus additional hours as scheduled
This position is a year-round position that may support other programs in the summer months as needed.
The City Facilities Architectural Services (CFAS) Division of the Department of Public Works is currently seeking to fill multiple Associate Architect positions. Professional licensing is desirable but not required (premium pay of 1.5% is available for licensed employees). Under the direction of a Senior Architect, the Associate Architect manages projects and is responsible and accountable for the effective and efficient project management of CIP Projects through all phases of the project.
This position's primary responsibilities are to identify, track, provide support and manage volunteers for the City of Los Altos programs and services, supporting various City departments. A significant amount of support is provided to Senior Programs offered by the Recreation & Community Services Department. This position is a temporary, non-benefited, at-will position averaging 15-20 hours per week.

The actual salary shall be determined by the final candidate’s qualifications and experience. In addition to the starting salary, employees in the Senior Analyst classification shall also receive an approximate five percent (5%) ongoing non-pensionable compensation pay.

Work Days: Three days per week depending on assigned section:
Parks/Landscape Section: (Friday - Sunday) OR (Saturday - Monday)
Streets Waste Water/Trees Section: (Monday - Wednesday) OR (Wednesday - Friday)

The Planning Services Manager reports to the Community Development Director and is responsible for Planning Division in the Community Development Department. In this role, the Manager plans, organizes, directs and coordinates, planning, zoning, and community development programs, and participates as a member of the department’s management team in the development of departmental policy and administrative processes, as well as undertaking related work as required.
