OASIS is community field-based mental health services provided to older adults at their place of residence. This home visit services include medication evaluation and monitoring, individual counseling/therapy, and case management. This multiple discipline team with language capacity in English, Spanish, and Chinese, consists of Psychiatrists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapists, a Community Mental Health Nurse, and a Peer Support Worker. Services are available to San Mateo County residents age 60 and over with issues of mobility and mental health conditions that impact their day-to-day functioning.  

Clinicians will use evidence-based approach to perform assessment, diagnosis, make medical necessity treatment plans, case management, individual therapy, and work with family members of clients' and other community providers for clients' mental health follow-up care needs. These interventions are provided in field setting or in clients' place of residence, and/or as needed to clients who are living in the community.

Clinicians are committed to providing medical necessity treatment that supports the clients' goals of independence and self-sufficiency with other service providers' support to continually live in the community with better quality of life. These positions embrace the challenge of providing simultaneous cooccurring treatment for both mental illness and substance use disorders in some cases; to work in an older adult outpatient setting as a member of a multidisciplinary team in collaboration and within the system of care.  

 

The ideal candidates will possess:  

• A current license as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Marriage and Family  
• Therapist, or are collecting hours to take the licensing exam;  
• Solid clinical treatment, assessment, diagnostic and evaluation skills;  
• Knowledge of principles, techniques and trends in counseling, psychotherapy, clinical case management, crisis management and various treatment modalities;
• Experience delivering services to adult and/or older adult consumers who have cooccurring behavioral health and substance use disorders;  
• Excellent documentation skills: progress notes, assessments, client care plans, etc.  
• Demonstrated expertise, skill and interest in working with a broad range of clients of diverse cultures and backgrounds, and an ability to provide culturally appropriate and proficient services  
• Skill in establishing and maintaining productive working relationships with families, coworkers, other professionals, collaborative partners and the public.  
• The ability to speak, read, and write fluently in both English and Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese) is preferred. 

 

Minimum qualifications include: 

Licensure/Certification:  

• PSW I - current California registration as a Clinical Social Worker Associate (ASW).  
• MFT I - current California Registration as a Marriage and Family Therapist intern (IMF). Individuals hired in these classifications must become licensed within three years from the date of employment as a Clinical Social Worker or Marriage and Family Therapist by the State of California. 
• PSW-II - current California license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).  
• MFT II - current California license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT). 

Education and Experience

The Watershed Planning Project Manager (Class: Project Analyst II or Project Analyst III) will manage projects related to urban river restoration, public access, and open space conservation, master planning, and park development, including design and construction of new park amenities, creation of parkland in urban neighborhoods, renovation of infrastructure and buildings, acquisition of land, and planning in a watershed context. Supervision

This position may report to the Chief of Watershed Planning, Chief of Park Development, or other Executive-level staff depending on MRCA's needs. Assorted tasks may be supervised by Executive Staff and may include participation in multi-division teams. The position supervises no other staff.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The following duties are typical for this classification. Incumbents may not perform all of the listed duties and/or may be required to perform additional or different duties from those set forth below to address business needs and changing business practices.

• Implement multiple projects simultaneously: The project manager is the central point of contact on all issues concerning assigned projects and will be responsible for project quality. Perform project tracking, scheduling, and budget management.
• Analyze various planning documents and processes for consistency and impacts on MRCA's watershed planning priorities. Write formal comment letters and informal memoranda.
• Participate in planning processes related to the Los Angeles River and other local watersheds, at both regional and individual project scales.
• Identify potential projects and assess feasibility.
• Write and coordinate grant proposals and research new funding opportunities for land acquisition, park development, and related planning efforts.
• Oversee consultants and contractors, manage contracts, coordinate project team and collaborate with coworkers to ensure that the project scope is completed according to grant agreements, schedules, and cost limits. Assist in selection of consultants/contractors.
• Determine project scope, options, and alternatives to overcome constraints. Revise as often as needed to address unexpected conditions.
• Perform day-to-day administration of grants, prepare required reports and ensure conformance with grant agreements.
• Cooperate with other team members to accomplish project goals.
• Produce written materials including staff reports, text for publication, proposals, progress reports, and a variety of other documents.
• Manage project budgets with funding from multiple sources, keeping abreast of status and expense eligibility requirements, identifying solutions to shortfalls, and keeping up to date as projects evolve.

Depending on the MRCA's needs, park development may be emphasized in the specific job duties, including:

• Manage the CEQA compliance process for potential projects.

Depending on the MRCA's needs, management of maintenance funding sources may be emphasized in the specific job duties, including:

• Assist with budget development and monitoring for multiple locations and funds.
• Liaison frequently between operations and maintenance staff and finance staff to ensure smooth administrative processes.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to remain in a stationary position, occasionally move about inside the office to access supplies and office machinery, frequently communicate and exchange information, review handwritten, electronic and facsimile documents, observe site conditions, and operate a computer and other office productivity machinery. The employee must occasionally move items weighing up to 20 pounds inside the office.

Required Hours and Location

Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week with some scheduling flexibility. Occasional overtime work in evenings or weekends upon prior approval by supervisor. The position will work out of the Los Angeles River Center and Gardens but may be required to travel to various other locations. Offices at the River Center are spread among multiple buildings and floors. Remote working or a hybrid schedule may be allowed, subject to supervisor approval.

As public parklands, the majority of MRCA properties are open to the general public during operating hours. This position is likely to have physical contact with members of the public in public areas such as parking lots and shared public/office restrooms and during in-person public meetings. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

COMPENSATION

Wages

The range of hourly rates for a Project Analyst II is $27.27 to $33.15.

The range of hourly rates for a Project Analyst III is $30.57 to $37.15.

Classification Level

The selected candidate may be hired as a Project Analyst II or Project Analyst III, depending on experience. A Project Analyst II will perform the functions with a moderate level of supervision, making some judgments independently, and regular check-ins for guidance and task prioritization. A Project Analyst III will perform the functions with a low level of supervision and less frequent check-ins to verify tasks and decision support. A Project Analyst III shall have the ability to advance into a team leadership role and determine project direction.

The Budgets and Financial Planning & Analysis Section is responsible for developing and managing the organization's budgets, performing financial analysis and forecasting, developing financial plans and supporting effective financial management throughout MTC, ABAG and affiliated entities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Streets & Construction Worker I:

This is an entry-level class under close supervision, performs any combination of the following duties on construction projects, usually working in utility capacity, by transferring from one task to another where demands require worker with varied experience and ability.  Work is usually performed with other workers.  This class may advance to Streets & Construction Worker II after gaining experience and demonstrating proficiency to meet the qualification of the higher-level class.

Prerequisites:   Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school (or G.E.D equivalent to graduation) and two years’ experience performing a variety of skilled and semi-skilled construction and/or maintenance involving buildings, grounds, streets and sidewalks.

The Position

The Solid Waste Manager reports directly to the Environmental Services Manager and is responsible for the administration of multiple integrated waste management contracts and programs within the Environmental Services Division. This position supervises a team of technical staff who execute various integrated solid waste management activities and may serve as the division head in the absence of the Environmental Services Manager.

Examples of Duties

• Manage multiple City franchise agreements for solid waste collection, material transfer and recovery, and landfill disposal including negotiating contract terms and monitoring performance.
• Oversee the division’s solid waste programs including planning, organizing, and implementing programs to create environmentally sound and cost-effective methods for the disposal of garbage and household hazardous waste, recovery of recyclables, diversion of organic material, and waste prevention.

The City of Chowchilla is seeking a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator I for the operation and maintenance of the City’s Wastewater Treatment Plant. The Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator I is a journey-level class in the Wastewater Treatment Plant series, which normally works under general supervision, performing a group of related duties according to established procedures.  This position reports to the Utility Systems or Wastewater System Supervisor and does not supervise. 

The City of Dixon Fire Department  offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity for qualified applicants holding a career in fire safety and is recruiting to fill vacancies of full-time appointments for the position of Lateral Firefighter/Paramedic. 

To be considered eligible for Lateral Firefighter/Paramedic you must meet the following criteria:

• A minimum of 12 months of current and continuous experience as a full time/career firefighter with no separation time or break in service at time of application.

The City of Dixon Fire Department is recruiting to fill current firefighter paramedic vacancies as soon as possible and to establish an eligibility for future needs. This recruitment will be open continuously, and applications will be pulled from FCTC the first week of every month.

To be considered eligible for this hiring and eligibility list, you must meet the following criteria:

• Pass the Firefighter Candidate Testing Center (FCTC) Entry Level Firefighter Written Exam and be placed on the FCTC Statewide Eligibility List.
• Possess a current, valid Cal-JAC CPAT Card issued within the last 12 months from date of application submission and ability to pass the City of Dixon's aerial ladder agility test.
• Possess a valid Firefighter 1 Academy certificate or California State Fire Marshal Firefighter 1 Certificate.
• Possess a current, valid California or National Registry Paramedic certification (note: persons possessing a National Registry Certification will be required to register as a California Paramedic prior to appointment).
• Valid California Class “C” Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

The Dixon Fire Department offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity for qualified applicants pursuing a career in fire safety.  The position performs fire prevention activities to save lives and property; responds to hazardous material incidents; responds to all fire alarms with designated company; prepares and operates the necessary equipment at the scene of the fire such as a hose, ladders, chemicals, bars, hooks, etc.; administers first aid to injured patrons; performs other acts required of a Firefighter at the scene of an emergency; carries out all duties assigned by Superior Officers.  Work involves irregular hours during the day and evenings, and on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
