About this role
We are seeking responsible, reliable and enthusiastic individuals to score keep for our Adult Softball leagues. Scorekeepers will be responsible for putting out and picking up the bases at the beginning and end of night, turning on and off the field lights, keeping score for each game played and keeping the official game time and other duties as assigned. This is a part time, non-benefited position, up to 30 hours per week and limited to 960 hours in a fiscal year (July-June). You must be available to work Monday-Friday during the hours of 6pm-10:15pm, from early March – mid-November.

Employees hired into this class will follow the City’s emphasis on excellent customer service, be detail-orientated, able to manage multiple tasks and programs and be a team player who can work with a variety of City staff and members of the public. You must be available to work Monday-Friday during the hours of 3pm-8pm and one Saturday or Sunday from 8am-5pm, year-round.  This is a part time, non-benefited position, up to 30 hours per week and limited to 960 hours in a fiscal year (July-June).

What You’ll Do

• Acts a liaison to build a positive working relationship with all youth user groups who use the athletic fields in San Mateo.
• Reviews all activities on San Mateo field’s including, youth user group games and practices, adult sports, private rentals and public drop in use.
• Interprets and enforces the field user policy and park policies to the public and sports user groups.
• Monitors park areas by foot to assist the general public and sports groups in the use of the park areas.
• Responds to inquiries and complaints and ensures safe use of the facilities.
• Documents all emergency and first-aid contacts.
• Reports possible safety hazards and/or unsanitary conditions to the Recreation Supervisor.
• Assist in keeping accurate records of forms, inventory and supplies
• Supports City or Department-sponsored events as required.

Gym Attendants will be responsible for class registrations and refunds, cash handling procedures, maintaining the office area and supplies, safety issues regarding the facility and program participants, any set up or breakdown needed for activities scheduled and other duties as assigned. This is a part time, non-benefited position, up to 30 hours per week and limited to 960 hours in a fiscal year (July-June).  You must be available to work Monday-Friday during the hours of 5:30pm-10:15pm and one Saturday or Sunday between the hours of 9am-9pm, year-round.

The Position

The Multipurpose Senior Service Program (MSSP) Case Manager will perform professional and clinical social work tasks and duties for older adults living with complex medical conditions to assist them to obtain optimum health, financial, and/or social services. As a member of the Human Services Department, this position reports to a Clinical Supervisor in the Aging and Family Services Division.

Under guidelines provided by the State of California, the MSSP Case Manager provides case management to frail seniors who are MediCal eligible and 65 years of age and older, to support them to live in their own home. This position joins a multi-disciplinary team of a social worker and a nurse and will perform case management functions in the cities of Fremont, Newark, Union City and Hayward. This position requires driving to conduct community visits, including visits to client homes and medical facilities. Participants in the MSSP program have significant medical and/or caregiving deficits and are at risk of further deterioration and/or institutionalization. The Case Manager will evaluate clients for medical appropriateness (RN only), conduct assessments (health and/or psychosocial), formulate detailed care plans, access/advocate for services, and monitor client care. The program serves a diverse client population, and the candidate must feel comfortable working with monolingual non-English speaking clients and/or through interpreters.

This is a regular, part-time position (32 hours/week) and will receive pro-rated benefits.

Examples of Duties

- Manage a caseload of 28-32 clients comprised of older individuals with complex medical conditions.
- Conduct comprehensive client assessments, and develop and monitor service plan.
- Collaborate with team members, Human Service programs, and community agencies.
- Conduct home visits and provide other community interventions as needed.
- Conduct inter-agency and/or family conferences.
- Advocate for clients in accessing services.
- Monitor services provided for each client.
- Maintain timely electronic documentation of services, reporting, and billing.
- Participate in peer chart audits and outside audit preparation.
- Prepare and present training, outreach, and educational sessions and materials.
- Supervise interns in graduate and undergraduate programs.
- Prepare written and statistical technical reports.

Role Description

As a Clinical Psychologist for the County Adult Assistance Program(CAAP), you will conduct professional-level work in screening and assessing CalWORKS and CAAP clients to identify and document disabling mental health conditions and associated functional limitations that enable them to qualify for Social Security Benefits.

Essential Duties Include:

• Conducts screening and assessment of clients with mental health related complaints, collateral interviews with primary care and behavioral health staff, and medical records review to support clients’ application for Social Security Benefits.
• Selects, administers, scores, and interprets appropriate psychological tests of intelligence, personality, aptitude, achievement, interest and other specialized areas and conducts diagnostic clinical interviews with emotionally disturbed, mentally ill, chemically dependent, and intellectually disabled adults to assess their impairments to provide medical evidence in support of clients’ application for Social Security Benefits as needed.
• Prepares psychological reports presenting diagnostic findings, interview findings, functional assessments, clinical evaluations, and recommendations for the Clients’ SSI eligibility.
• Reviews and evaluates psychological, psychiatric and/or neuropsychological data and case material.
• Provides education, consultation, and information to community providers, and CAAP’s multi-disciplinary team on adult adjustment problems, mental illness, chemical dependence, culturally relevant services, and other topics related to SSI eligibility.
• Supervises psychology interns and subordinate clinical staff not including class 2574 Clinical Psychologist; conducts staff training programs both within the clinic or unit and for line agency personnel.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Park Ranger Assistant provides information and assistance to the public and enforces laws, rules and regulations (including sections of the Fremont Municipal Code) pertaining to park and recreation facilities.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES (This is a general description of duties and is not all-inclusive)

• Responsible for patrol and general supervision of Central Park and its recreation facilities and picnic areas
• Give information and provide assistance to the public acting as a City of Fremont liaison
• As a Public Officer, may enforce the Fremont Municipal Code within the park system including issuing citations
• Knowledgeable of the rules, regulations and ordinances of the City of Fremont park operations
• Maintain continual radio communication with other staff

SELECTION PROCESS
