About the Position 

The City of Fremont's Finance Department is seeking a full-time Accounting Specialist I/II that will support the Revenue function. The incumbent will provide a variety of customer service, financial and accounting duties in the preparation, maintenance and processing of accounting records and financial transactions. This position is responsible for performing duties to support the central cashiering function for citywide services.

The Position

The Senior Accounting Specialist is responsible for a variety of advanced level fiscal clerical assignments. This position provides administrative support of federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnership Programs (HOME) programs related to affordable housing and services to low income residents.

Examples of Job Duties

• Prepare and execute contracts for CDBG, ESG, HOME, and SSG Grant Programs.
• Provide contract administration/clerical support, which includes keeping and maintaining detailed records and information required by federal grant programs.

Tri-City Mental Health Authority is looking for to fill multiple vacancies for the Bilingual Behavioral Health Specialist (BHS) for the Adult Services Department. The Information Technology Department’s Development Services Solutions team is seeking qualified candidates to fill the Information System Analyst positions to support the development and maintenance for several Off-The-Shelf (OTS) and custom systems and applications that support operations of the Planning, Building, Code Enforcement department and the Development Services process at the City of San Jose. The primary role of this position is to act as technical lead in supporting and managing diverse departmental business systems that include web and client servers’ application, database, Permitting and Compliance, public web portal, Business Intelligence, GIS, Inspection scheduling/Dispatch, Digital Inspection and performing all duties necessary for maintaining, supporting and optimize systems.  This position must ensure business processes for users are documented and that systems meet customer expectations.  This position is responsible for ongoing user training, report creation, systems administrations, system support, maintenance, and programming efforts and must maintain excellent customer relations.

The Information Technology Department houses a team of customer-centric technicians and engineers to support the use of technology by City employees and the public. As the Enterprise Client Services Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for overseeing and managing that team of engineers and technicians ensuring excellent endpoint management services and day-to-day customer support services.
