EXAMPLES OF DUTIES

• Management and administration of grants, implementation of all components of grants, ensure reporting and compliance requirements;
• Research, compile, and analyze crime statistics, financial, and other data;
• Assist in program, policy, and budget development, evaluation, and monitoring;
• Prepare recommendations for grants, budgets, new programs, modification of services and equipment;
• Plan, organize, coordinate, and monitor assigned projects;
• Prepare reports and presentations on all pertinent aspects of grants, proposed programs, and projects

including budget projections;

• May make presentations on assigned projects and programs to the City Council and others;
• Analyze, interpret, and explain City policies and procedures.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge of the principles, practices, and methods of municipal budgeting, finance, and/or public administration;
• Ability to write and present reports and recommendations;
• Ability to demonstrate competency in research and analysis;
• Ability to work as a team member and respond in a positive manner to supervision.

Education: Equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university with major work in public or business administration or related field.

Experience: One to two years of general administrative experience, preferably in grant administration in local government.

License: Possession of a valid Class “C” California Driver's License.

Performs a variety of unskilled or semi-skilled maintenance work, and operates a variety of equipment in the construction, operation, repair, maintenance and replacement of Town water, sewer, street and storm drainage facilities and systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
•    Perform required labor involved in construction and maintenance projects as part of a crew, including pavement cutting, ditch digging, manhole and line cleaning, main and pipe repair, laying and backfilling.
•    Perform routine cleaning, inspection and preventive maintenance of equipment and refers defects or needed repairs to supervisor.
•    Performs all duties in conformance with appropriate safety and security standards.
•    Maintains Corporation Yard and other Town facilities.
•    Responds to residents' requests for service.
•    Maintains a variety of records relating to maintenance activity.
•    Assists in determining the locations of water, storm drain and sewer lines from the appropriate sources prior to excavation.
•    Drives trucks of various sizes and weights in the loading, hauling, and unloading of equipment and supplies.
•    Work in adverse weather conditions.

Possible 40 or more hours per week (Subject to change) up to total 960 hours of temporary employment.

Definition:

Under general supervision, this position is assigned to perform a variety of duties to support the users of various indoor and outdoor City facilities and programs. The Recreation Leader I/II oversees programs and rental activities. This includes opening and closing buildings, monitoring facility use including facility and guest safety during rentals, setting up tables and chairs for rentals, City programs and events, performing light janitorial and custodial duties, ensuring compliance of established rules and procedures for the use of facilities, and performing other duties as required. Within this classification, specific positions will include: Storekeeper, Facility Attendant, Front Desk, Cashier, and Customer Service Representative.

Examples of Duties for these positions may include:

• Opening and/or closing facility
• Monitoring facility for safety, cleanliness and appropriate use
• Checking daily facility schedule and/or rental setup diagrams
• Set up and break down the facility for rentals and events

• Cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing assigned program area
