City of American Canyon Parks and Recreation Department invite energetic and responsible individuals to apply for the position of Senior Recreation Leader. This position will be responsible for overseeing and leading the city programs and events. The position is also responsible for providing assistance to Program Coordinators.
This position is a full-time salaried position with an approximate starting annual salary of $65,297 and an excellent benefits program. The actual salary shall be determined by the final candidate’s qualifications and experience. In addition to the starting salary, employees in this classification shall also receive an approximate five percent (5%) ongoing non-pensionable compensation pay.
This position performs professional level administrative work for the Office of Employee Relations. Some of the duties of the position may include:

$22.07 – $27.74 hourly (20-25 hours per week) without benefits

The Program Coordinator - Arts will coordinate the City’s Arts and Special Events programming; including the Recreation Department’s art activities, programs and events, and supporting the Arts Commission initiatives and programs, and performs related work as required. This is a unique position, affording the appointee the opportunity to develop a program from the ground up and leave a legacy.
