The City of San Rafael is recruiting for a Senior Planner in our Community Development Department. This position is responsible for the program, administration, and the performance of a comprehensive planning/economic development division and performs professional current and/or advanced planning work.

Under general direction of the Director of Accounting along with collaboration with the Managers of Human Resources, Deputy General Manager-Administrative and Development, and the District’s legal counsel, this position manages the Payroll Department & represents the District’s interests in all payroll, benefit & pension matters. The Payroll Manager plans, develops, interprets, and implements all activities of the Payroll Department through subordinate staff in a highly demanding and fast-paced environment.
The County of Yuba is currently recruiting to establish an employment list for the classification of Social Worker II. Under general supervision, incumbents perform moderately complex social services case work by providing a variety of services to County residents; conducting field visits; identifying, assessing and arranging alternative solutions to clients’ needs and obstacles; carry a moderately complex caseload; prepare and monitor plans; prepare court reports, depending on area of assignment; and perform related work as assigned.
- Position Summary
Under the general direction of the Director of Engineering and Maintenance, the Ferry Project Engineer will act as marine technical resources for issues related to Golden Gate Ferry Fleet. This position will be assigned to high-dollar complex vessel projects that require complicated processes, such as but not limited to, developing and/or overseeing the preparation of specifications, drawings, and procurement documents necessary to advertise, proceed to competitive bid, and manage the project through completion.
