60 units of credit from an accredited college or two years of Military Service in lieu of college is desirable.

Under immediate, then as proficiency increases, general supervision of a Field Training Officer, Police Officer or higher ranking official, incumbents in this classification perform and document varied law enforcement assignments through working assigned shifts in patrol or on specialty assignments and participating in training; perform related work as required.

RESERVE POLICE OFFICER

Dependent upon Reserve level designation, performs a wide variety of duties in the enforcement of law and order; and to carry out special assignments in the protection of life and property within the City of Ceres. Supervision received and exercised -
THE POSITION Under general supervision, this non-sworn, non-peace officer position performs assignments involving responsible public contact work in crime prevention and delivers non-emergency police services; also performs related duties as required.
Prerequisites / Qualifications
Under general supervision, protects life and property; performs law enforcement and crime prevention duties; controls traffic flow and regulations; enforces State, Federal and Local laws and performs related duties as required.
