The City of Lincoln is hiring for the position of Public Works Director. The recruitment is open until filled, interested applicants are encouraged to apply immediately.
Lincoln's Public Works Director is responsible for the budgeting, operation and maintenance of the various department divisions, including the airport, grounds and facilities, streets, water distribution, water quality, solid waste, sanitary sewer collection and treatment, and the City's fleet. Responsibilities include preparation of the Urban Water Management Plan, Sanitary Sewer Management Plan; managing utility rate studies for water, sewer and solid waste; and tracking the expenditures and accounting for Maintenance Community Facilities Districts, Benefit Assessment Districts, and Landscape Lighting Assessment Districts.
The Public Works Director serves as the Senior Technical Advisory Committee Representative for the City on the Western Placer Waste Management Authority and is the alternate representative for the City on the Regional Water Authority Board of Directors.
