Description

Under direction of the new Chief Plant Operator, operate and maintain one or more water treatment plants and the City’s wastewater treatment plant on an assigned shift or in a specified geographic area; to inspect and make minor repairs on water and wastewater equipment and facilities; to assist in the minor repair and maintenance of water and wastewater Treatment plant equipment; and to do related work as required.

Ideal Candidate

Incumbents perform the full range of operations and minor maintenance duties relating to both water treatment plant and wastewater treatment plant operations having a design complexity requiring advanced operator certification.
