Sacramento Regional/Fire EMS Communications Center

Sacramento Regional Fire/EMS Communications Center dispatches fire and medical services for the fire agencies in Sacramento City, Sacramento County, Elk Grove, Folsom, Galt and surrounding areas, with a mixed rural-suburban-urban population of 1.5 million and approximately 1000 square mile area. Approximately 160,000 calls are dispatched per year. A Joint Powers Authority with members representing City of Sacramento, Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District, Cosumnes Community Services District and the City of Folsom governs the Communications Center via an on-site Chief Executive Director.
