This recruitment is open until filled, however, it will automatically close upon receipt of the first 100 applications, whichever occurs first.

Interested candidates must submit a completed online employment application. Your responses will be reviewed for appropriate grammar, punctuation, and content. Resumes are highly desirable, but a resume in lieu of a completed application will not be accepted.

SELECTION PROCESS

The applications will be screened and a limited number of applicants possessing the most relevant qualifications will be accepted to participate in an oral interview.  Recommendations for appointment to the position will be based on the results of the oral interviews.  

 

Note: The City of Burlingame reserves the right, at its discretion, to limit the number of qualified candidates invited to the selection process.

 

 

PRIOR TO APPOINTMENT

Prior to appointment, candidates will be required to:  

  • pass a fingerprint check submitted to the Department of Justice
  • comply with The Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 and provide proof of identity and authorization to work in the United States at date of hire
