Lifeguard II’s patrol and oversee the activities in and around the community swimming pool, enforce regulations to prevent accidents, rescue swimmers in distress, provide first aid and respond to emergencies and rescue swimmers in distress.
The ideal candidate will be 17 and have a current lifeguard certification, have worked for an agency or company for two years or more and or has some college. Candidate is flexible, self-motivated, attentive, and enjoys working with public. All shifts available, including: early morning, daytime, evening and weekends.
Candidate needs to be available to work at least 3 varied shifts during the week and weekend.

Salary Range and Hours: $12.50 to $16 per hour.

Qualifications: Education and Experience – Graduation from high school or GED equivalent is desirable, college is highly desirable. This provision may be waived for applicants 17 years of age with ability to obtain a valid work permit. Previous experience as a lifeguard is required
