The City of Rocklin is looking for a part-time Senior Maintenance Worker to assist in the Streets Division of the Public Services Department. The work schedule will be based on the needs of the department working no more than 28 hours per week, not to exceed 999 hours in a fiscal year (July 1st through June 30th). This is a temporary at-will position and does not offer benefits.
The ideal incumbent must have the ability to perform heavy manual and must operate a variety of power tools, such as string trimmers and chainsaws. Must have the ability to execute good independent judgement while assisting the streets crew and working around heavy equipment.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have the equivalent to the completion of the 12th grade
- Must possess a current valid Class C California driver license
