Facility Specialist I – Adult Sports—Scorekeeper – Per Diem
Facility Specialist I - $15.18-$16.53 hourly (Depending on experience)
The City of San Mateo Parks & Recreation Department is now accepting applications for part-time employment in the Athletics Division.
We are seeking responsible, reliable, passionate, friendly, enthusiastic individuals who are knowledgeable about the sport of baseball/softball to score-keep for our Adult Softball leagues. Scorekeepers will be responsible for putting out the bases and other necessary equipment, operating the scoreboard, keeping the score-book, and communicating with the umpires, their supervisor, and team managers, in addition to other tasks. You must be able to work on weeknights (designated nights to be assigned) from 6pm until approximately 11pm. Score-keepers will be asked to work anywhere from one night a week to five nights a week depending upon different variables.
This position is considered part time and offers no benefits, allowing no more than 980 hours per fiscal year.
