About this role
We are seeking energetic, creative and enthusiastic individuals to provide one-on-one assistance for children diagnosed with special needs (developmental delays, attention issues, processing challenges, sensory disorders) entering kindergarten through 8th grade. You must be able to work Monday-Friday approximately 4-8 hours a day between the hours of 7:30am-5:45pm; depending on the child’s schedule. This is a part time, non-benefited position, 30-40 hours per week during Summer months, and 10-15 hours remainder of year. This position is limited to 960 hours in a fiscal year, July-June.

What You Bring
Energy and Enthusiasm!
Ability to create and implement new idea into an existing program.
Experience and passion for working with children.
Education and background in Therapeutic Recreation, Child Development or a related field.
Who You Are
You have a strong work ethic, customer service skills and works well with others.
You have good judgment and make good decisions in a variety of situations.
You are able to communicate well with patrons, co-workers and supervisors.
You are 18 years or older, or a HS graduate.
What You’ll Do
Work one on one with your assigned child and integrate them into our daily camp routine.
Assisting child or children with arts & crafts, games, sports and other day camp activities.
Assisting child with diapering and meals as needed.
Provide excellent customer service.
