The City of Livermore, with a population of 91,000+ residents, is located in Alameda County, approximately forty miles east of San Francisco, and adjacent to the San Joaquin Valley. Livermore’s heritage includes historic vineyards and a tradition of ranching and agriculture. Today, our City continues to expand its wine-making industry and celebrate our annual rodeo. Livermore is home to two world-renowned national laboratories, nineteen wineries, a general aviation airport, and three golf courses.

Livermore’s local and regional economy is strong and diverse. Our inclusion within the Northern aspect of the Silicon Valley and other major Northern California market and employment centers, enables us to benefit from business development and expansion, while preserving the quality of life that originally brought people to Livermore.
